贝礼中
贝礼中是美国纽约市贝氏建筑事务所其中一位始创董事长及美国注册建筑
师。事务所的建筑物遍布全球，集中于大型商业、文化机构、住宅、医疗
和教育等项目。贝先生共领导了位于美国、加拿大、墨西哥、中国、印度
尼西亚、越南、星加坡等国家、超过五百万平方米的建筑物和大型城市发
展项目。其作品也在建筑业传媒，以致美国和国际传媒中广泛报道。
贝氏建筑事务所的主要作品包括位于华盛顿的中国大使馆、苏州博物
馆、洛杉矶加州大学列根医疗中心、多伦多的 2221Yonge 街公寓、

BIOGRAPHY
Li Chung Pei
Li Chung (Sandi) Pei is an architect and the founding partner of Pei Partnership
Architects based in New York City. The firm is an international practice
specializing in large‐scale commercial, cultural, residential, healthcare,
hospitality and educational projects. Mr. Pei has directed the design of
over five million square meters of building and several large‐scale urban
development projects in the United States, Canada, Mexico, China,
Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore and has been widely published in
professional journals and in the national and international media.
Some of his firm’s notable projects include the Chinese Embassy
(Washington); the Suzhou Museum (Suzhou); the Ronald Reagan UCLA
Medical Center (Los Angeles); 2221 Yonge Street (Toronto); and The
Centurion (New York). The firm’s clients include BMW, the Bank of China,
China Institute, Creative Artists Agency, Macao Foundation, Mandarin
Oriental Hotel Group, MIT and numerous municipal governments,
cultural institutions and property developers.
Beyond his firm’s practice, Mr. Pei is respected for his public service
contributions to the profession. A frequent lecturer his speaking
engagements include the Building Museum in Washington, DC; AOA
(Associacion de Oficinas de Arquitectura) in Santiago, Chile;
Intermarmomach Stone Fair in Verona, Italy; the Integral Conversation
Forum in Guilin, China; the World Architectural Congress in Shanghai,
China and The Harvard Graduate School of Design. He has been juror of
international competitions and institute award programs in Seoul, New
York, Chicago and Hong Kong and a design critic at architectural schools
in the U.S. and abroad. Mr. Pei has been an active member of the New
York Chapter of the American Institute of Architects where for several
years he served on its Board of Directors.
Mr. Pei enjoys a sustaining interest in the arts and serves on Christie’s
Advisory Board and as Vice President of the International Council of the
Museum of Modern Art.
